Caroline Deacon - freelance journalist

I have been working as a freelance journalist for over ten years, and specialise in parenting issues, health, psychology, education, leisure and travel.

I write for a wide variety of magazines and websites, and have written, edited and contributed to several books. PR work is a growing area for me as well.

I have been teaching adults for over twenty years and currently work as a distance tutor in journalism and creative writing for the Writer’s Bureau in Manchester as well as teaching creative writing classes for the Workers Education Association.

I also teach for the National Childbirth Trust running training days for health professionals, volunteers, parents and delivering the NCT diploma in breastfeeding counselling for the University of Bedfordshire.
